Although spiritualism has long departed the mainstream of British culture, private events still continue to thrive. These modern spirit gatherings tend to be hidden and ‘invite-only’, and mine are no different. Unlike Tarot readings which can be very informal and relaxed, I approach séances with a sense of reverence and I expect the same from my guests. Anyone who violates the code of conduct or doesn’t follow the dress code will be asked to leave and will not be invited back.
